Firstly, you'll want to set up a personal Facebook account for your business in case you don't already have one.
To do this, go to www.facebook.com and fill in the sign-up form. Now remember, you're still setting up a personal account so you'll need to put in your real details. You'll be using this Facebook account to build awareness about your business.

Fill in the details including your real birthday, but don't worry, later on I'll show you how to keep this information private so that nobody else can see it, if you like.
Next you'll be asked to fill in a bunch of strange looking letters that show up on the screen, don't worry, this is how facebook knows that you're a human being and not some 'robot'
Fill in the two words (including a space in between if necessary) and click: “Sign Up”.
Once you've done this, log in to the email account you used to register your profile. You'll see two Facebook emails sitting in your inbox. One will have the subject line: “Just one more step to get started on Facebook” - open that email.
Once you've opened this email you'll see something like this:
Click on the link given to you in the email.
