add gif image in facebook
Be it fortunate or unfortunate, you cannot use an animated GIF as your Facebook profile picture. I've heard several explanations as to exactly why (from all images being converted to JPEGs to cache issues), but regardless of the cause, Facebook doesn't allow it, and it doesn't work.
How To Create An AMAZING Facebook Profile!
Setting up a Facebook profile is the first step towards creating a powerful Facebook presence that will get your brand out there. The best part about having a Facebook profile and a brand presence on Facebook is that it's a popular way for people to interact with for FREE. If you approach it the right way, Facebook could be your best marketing resource and you can watch your traffic and sales boom. So let's get started...
Firstly, you'll want to set up a personal Facebook account for your business in case you don't already have one.
To do this, go to www.facebook.com and fill in the sign-up form. Now remember, you're still setting up a personal account so you'll need to put in your real details. You'll be using this Facebook account to build awareness about your business.
You can find this sign up form at www.facebook.com.
Fill in the details including your real birthday, but don't worry, later on I'll show you how to keep this information private so that nobody else can see it, if you like.
Next you'll be asked to fill in a bunch of strange looking letters that show up on the screen, don't worry, this is how facebook knows that you're a human being and not some 'robot'
Fill in the two words (including a space in between if necessary) and click: “Sign Up”.
Once you've done this, log in to the email account you used to register your profile. You'll see two Facebook emails sitting in your inbox. One will have the subject line: “Just one more step to get started on Facebook” - open that email.
Once you've opened this email you'll see something like this:
Click on the link given to you in the email.

I received an email that I created a new Facebook account, but I didn’t sign up for a new account.
Most likely, someone mistakenly tried to register using your email address. Do not click the link in the email. If you don’t click the link, the account will not be confirmed. An unconfirmed account can remain on the site for a maximum of three days, but it can’t be used to send messages, write on Walls, post in discussions, poke, tag friends in photos or notes, comment on content, join groups, or like pages. After three days without the email owner’s confirmation, the account will become inaccessible.
If someone created an account to impersonate or imitate you, go to the fake profile and click "Report/Block this person" at the bottom of the column on the left. Check the Report this Person box, choose Fake Profile as the reason, and add "Impersonating me or someone else" as the report type. Be sure to add the web address (URL) of the real profile so that we can review the information.

Does it cost money to use Facebook? Is it true that Facebook is going to charge to use the site?
Facebook is a free site and will never require that you pay to continue using the site. You do, however, have the option of purchasing Facebook credits, which can be used to send gifts or to purchase items on applications or games. In addition, if you choose to use Facebook from your mobile device, please note that you will be responsible for any fees associated with internet usage and/or text messaging as determined by your mobile service provider.
